Virginia to Vegas to Headline ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival Food Truck Showcase Event Sponsored by Finning

(Fort McMurray, AB - July 4, 2018) – The 2018 ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival Committee is pleased to announce that Virginia to Vegas will headline the Food Truck Showcase sponsored by Finning in support of the United Way of Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo. The event, also in partnership with Urban Market and Mix 103.7 and 100.5 Cruz FM, will take place Wednesday, July 25th, from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM on Franklin Avenue from Hardin Street to Main Street, and in Jubilee Plaza.

Virginia to Vegas is a singer, songwriter and platinum recording artist who released his debut full-length album “Utopian” in 2016, featuring his biggest pop radio smash to date, “Lights Out” as well as the platinum-selling hit, “We Are Stars” featuring Alyssa Reid. Virginia to Vegas has continued his success into 2018, having been nominated for Breakout Artist of the Year at the 2018 JUNO Awards for his platinum-selling hit, “Selfish”. The past couple of years have seen Virginia to Vegas traveling the continent, filming music videos in Las Vegas and New York, sharing arena stages, and performing on the Much Music Video Awards (MMVAs).

The best food trucks in Fort McMurray and some visiting trucks from around Alberta will join with the Urban Market to create the perfect outdoor street festival experience with Wood Buffalo Brewing Co. hosting the Beer Garden from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. This event will kick off the 2018 ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival with family-friendly fun, and tickets are free! A percentage of all the profits of the food trucks sales will go to support the United Way of Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo.
