Midnight Madness Tickets are Available Now!

June 10th 2019, Fort McMurray, AB – The Fort McMurray Food Festival Committee is pleased to announce the program for Midnight Madness presented by Flett, Manning and Moore, in partnership with Keyano Theatre and Arts Centre and Mix 103.7 FM. Tickets are available now!

A new event in 2019 at the ALCOR Fort McMurray Food Festival! Harkening back to the old days of interPLAY, this variety showcase night will feature lobby entertainment, Improv comedy, local performances, great food and more to delight the senses. A special showing of “The Wrestling Play” presented by Theatre; Just Because will also be on stage. This event will take place at the Keyano Recital Theatre, Saturday July 20th, starting at 8:00 p.m.

Show Line-up: 8:00 p.m. - Lobby reception with entertainment from Éva La Prairie, silent auction and bar service 8:30 p.m. - Doors open to Recital Theatre 9:00 p.m. - Local performances 10:00 p.m. - Mingling break with bar service 10:30 p.m. - "The Wrestling Play" presented by Theatre; Just Because 11:15 p.m. - Mingling break with bar service 12:00 p.m. - Grindstone Theatre’s 11 O’Clock Number – An improvised Musical 1:30 a.m. - Event concludes

Boots ‘N’ Brews Entertainment Lineup Revealed

June 3rd 2019, Fort McMurray, AB – The Fort McMurray Food Festival Committee is pleased to announce the full entertainment lineup for Boots ‘n’ Brews Presented by Service Master Restore in partnership with Prime Social Group and Country 93.3!

The evening will be opened by Fort McMurray’s own Mychela, followed by SirusXM Top of the Country finalist Kelsi Mayne. Drink Flamingo Project takes the stage third during this night of festivities, with their summertime mix of feel good, tropical music with a country-rock edge. Headlining the evening is one of Canada’s most electrifying entertainers and Canadian Country Music Association Award winner, Aaron Pritchett.

In addition to the exceptional entertainment lineup, the event will be filled with all kinds of delicious BBQ eats by Prime on Franklin and great patio entertainment – including the return of the mechanical bull.

2019 Alcor Fort McMurray Food Festival Event Lineup Announced

2019 Alcor Fort McMurray Food Festival is returning with 12 events spaced out over 10 days including a selection of week-long events. The festival will take place from July 19th -  28th, and all proceeds from the events will go towards supporting Waypoints, a local charity organization that works to support and assist individuals and families of domestic violence, abuse, sexual assault and homelessness through prevention, treatment, intervention and referrals.

Virginia to Vegas to Headline ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival Food Truck Showcase Event Sponsored by Finning

(Fort McMurray, AB - July 4, 2018) – The 2018 ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival Committee is pleased to announce that Virginia to Vegas will headline the Food Truck Showcase sponsored by Finning in support of the United Way of Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo. The event, also in partnership with Urban Market and Mix 103.7 and 100.5 Cruz FM, will take place Wednesday, July 25th, from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM on Franklin Avenue from Hardin Street to Main Street, and in Jubilee Plaza.

Virginia to Vegas is a singer, songwriter and platinum recording artist who released his debut full-length album “Utopian” in 2016, featuring his biggest pop radio smash to date, “Lights Out” as well as the platinum-selling hit, “We Are Stars” featuring Alyssa Reid. Virginia to Vegas has continued his success into 2018, having been nominated for Breakout Artist of the Year at the 2018 JUNO Awards for his platinum-selling hit, “Selfish”. The past couple of years have seen Virginia to Vegas traveling the continent, filming music videos in Las Vegas and New York, sharing arena stages, and performing on the Much Music Video Awards (MMVAs).

Tickets now on sale for 2018 ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival

April 24, 2018, Fort McMurray, AB – The Fort McMurray Food Festival Committee launched ticket sales Tuesday for the 2018 ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival. The festival, which takes place from Wednesday, July 25, 2018 to Sunday, July 29, 2018, features seven fun-filled events for participants of all ages. Proceeds from the five-day festival will go towards supporting Waypoints, a local charity organization that works to support and assist individuals and families of domestic violence, abuse, sexual assault and homelessness through prevention, treatment, intervention and referrals. Proceeds from the Food Truck Showcase taking place on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 will support the United Way of Fort McMurray.

The best food trucks in Fort McMurray and some visiting trucks from around Alberta will gather in one location by the Urban Market to create the perfect outdoor street festival experience to kick off the 2018 ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival. Live entertainment by Mix 103.7 and 100.5 Cruz FM will keep the party going throughout the afternoon and a beer garden hosted by the Wood Buffalo Brewing Company will keep guests energized. The team from Finning will also be out with CAT heavy equipment and fun activities for all. 

Thursday, July 26, 2018 — Best Pub Food Club
Presented by Clearwater Physical Therapy in partnership with Country 93.3 and 97.9 Rock 

The Best Pub Food Club returns to Fort McMurray with three Diversified coach busses that will ferry people to some of the best pub food locations in town. Each bus will be hosted by talent from Country 93.3 and 97.9 Rock. The busses will start at Earls and finish at Prime Social Bar-BQ where there will be live entertainment. At the end of the night, participants will vote on their favourite appetizer, drink and overall experience and awards will be presented to the winning establishments.

Don’t miss the fun, free and family-friendly Annual Summer BBQ taking place at the Oil Sands Discovery Centre this July. This event will also include the launch of the 2018 YMM Food and Entertainment Guide giving our residents and visitors an ultimate guide to dining and fun in Wood Buffalo!

This must-attend event takes place under the beautiful canopy at the Fort McMurray Heritage Shipyard. This fun, Jamaican-themed night will feature gourmet Jamaican street food from local, award-winning restaurant Chez Max Jamaican Cuisine and Chef-To-Go Meals. Mix 103.7 will be hosting the event along with a line-up of local bands and DJ Q-Pid. Get ready to dance the night away under the stars in one of the hottest returning parties of 2017 with signature drinks at the Aluma Safeway Bar and the Main Bar sponsored by the Wood Buffalo Brewing Company.

Presented by Suncor in partnership with Country 93.3 and Rock 97.9 

The long-standing Taste of Fort McMurray presented by Suncor returns again in 2018 and will take place at Heritage Village. There will be food vendors set up offering up a sample of one of their best dishes. Your ticket purchase gets you your food passport for each vendor. Stamp your passport and try them all! The event will be hosted by Mike Jones of Country 93.3 and Brieanna McCutcheon from Shaw.

Nothing says summer like an outdoor concert with the best brews in town. Join us at Heritage Village for an intimate concert. Bar sponsored by the Wood Buffalo Brewing Company who will also be hosting an official after-party following the concert at their location downtown with more country music entertainment!

The ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival goes regional for the first-time! Join us for a day on the beach at the first-ever Anzac Grocery Store Beach Party! This family-friendly event will feature live entertainment hosted by 91.1 The Bridge, games on the beach, bannock-on-a-stick, free cool treats and a BBQ by donation to Waypoints!

2018 ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival set for July, ticket sales to start next week

April 17, 2018, Fort McMurray, AB – The Fort McMurray Food Festival Committee is pleased to announce that the 2018 ATCO Fort McMurray Food Festival will be taking place from Wednesday, July 25, 2018, to Sunday, July 29, 2018. All proceeds will go toward supporting Waypoints, a local charity organization that works to support and assist individuals and families of domestic violence, abuse, sexual assault and homelessness, through prevention, treatment, intervention and referrals.

The Committee will kick off ticket sales at their ticket launch event on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Members of the media and public are invited to come out, learn more about the six events taking place over the five-day festival and enjoy complimentary appetizers from some of Fort McMurray’s best restaurants.

Advanced tickets will be on sale with a chance for one lucky person to “win their purchase” at the event in a draw.
